READ BEFORE PURCHASING - Sublimation VS Direct To Film

What is sublimation? “Sublimation shirt printing is a specific process of printing that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto another material (usually polyester or a polyester mix). The ink is then heated until it disintegrates into the fabric.”

In simple words, sublimation DYES the fabric it is being pressed on. Therefore, this can only be done on light colored (we offer white, ash gray, sand & light pink) polyester fabric. The darker the fabric, the less it shows up. I commonly refer to sublimation as “vintage” because it does have a worn look to it. Sublimation will ALWAYS be printed on Gildan.

If I show you a photo of a design from my laptop or provide a mock-up & you order sublimation, your design will NOT be as vibrant as the digital. It MAY even turn colors, SLIGHTLY - especially if ordered on an ash gray, sand or light pink fabric!

What is direct to film? “DTF involves printing a design onto a piece of PET film (a special film with a coating that helps transfer designs) using water-based inks and a special powder adhesive. Then, the design on the PET film is heat transferred to fabric using a heat press machine. This printing method is durable and the designs come out very detailed and vibrant.”

If you are looking for a BRIGHT & VIBRANT design, this is for you!! DTF prints exactly as pictured on the mock-up!! You can put DTF on any fabric!!
